John Gauger, Director - Capital Markets
John has been working in the financial markets and banking industries for over 20 years. He has worked with businesses and institutional money managers to originate, syndicate, and trade over $1 billion in loans and securities. He has experience working with and advising global industry leaders, C-level executives, and investment fund managers. John has held positions at U.S. Bank, Merrill Lynch, City National Bank, Credit Suisse, and UBS. John is a graduate of Yale University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in history. While at Yale, he was a member of the varsity hockey team and was awarded All-Academic Team while he and his team won the Ivy League Championship three times.
John is married with two children and enjoys golfing and pheasant hunting in his free time. He founded the Fathers Group at Liberty Classical Academy, offering service and support to the school community. He is also a supporter of the Wilder Foundation, where he has been a member of the Ordinary Magic Planning Committee for three years.
